Swim Meets

At Stevenson Middle School, they have a swim team.  Yesterday they had their first official team meet.  Sophia Marshall said that she felt like her teammates did a great job. They did two hundred free relays and fifty freestyles.  They had to do two laps in the pool.  Sophia Marshall did the laps in 45.42 seconds.  They reviewed flips, turns and starts.  Carissa Noble did one lap, and said ” I think the rest of my team did really good.” They mainly did laps, practice on their speed, and form.  Unfortunately she didn’t remember her time for the laps.

These amazing students broke the schools record.  The boys got four hundred Free Relays.  Khang Huynh also broke the school record in the 50 and 100 Free Relay. The other one was performed by Kaitlyn Edwards in the 50 free and 100 backstroke.
